How uCrawler works

uCrawler automatically scrapping articles from any news websites-sources and delivering data to your website, mobile app or analytics system via API (JSON), XML, RSS, using Webhooks or with export directly in your DataBase (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

uCrawler is completely automated. All you need - choose news sources.

Dashboard
Add any news websites-sources or choose from our library to get latest or historical news articles.

You just need to create a Group and add page URL. uCrawler automatically collects all news from the webpage.

Queries
uCrawler powerful search query capabilities let you slice and dice the data according to your needs.

Search queries are super fast and you can preview result immediately with visual Preview or cURL sample.

Sources.
Choose group or specific source that will be included in your query.

Start Date and End Date (format: YYYY-MM-DD).
Choose specific time frame for collected content. You can get historical data for your sources. Sen us request to support@ucrawler.app if you want to increase time frame (default is 30 days).

Keywords.
Allow you to get more accurate search results by adding the keywords that should appear in the article title or article text.

Article text truncation.
Truncate an article text at the specified number of words. By default we return in the query full article text.

Format
The output format of the results set: JSON or XML.

Size.
The total number of posts returned per request, ranges between 1 to 200 (default is 100). You can increase this value by request.

RSS feeds
Setup RSS feeds based on you sources and keywords. The easiest way to add news on your website using news RSS widgets.

On FREE plan all of your RSS feeds will be deleted in 1 day unless you buy one of the paid plans.

Sources.
Choose group or specific source that will be included in your RSS.

Days
Choose specific time frame for collected content. It shows news for the last 1 to 7 days in RSS. Please send us request to support@ucrawler.app if you want to increase this value.

Keywords.
Allow you to get more accurate search results by adding the keywords that should appear in the article title or article text.

Article text truncation.
Truncate an article text at the specified number of words. By default we return in the query full article text.

Size.

RSS title.
Add a name for your RSS feed.

Export data
We can connect your ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, My SQL, MariaDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Mongo DB or Webhook for automatic data export.
